At Montrose Church of the Nazarene!

We believe children are not just the future of the Church—they are an important part of it right now. Our heart is to create a safe, fun, and faith-filled environment where kids can learn about Jesus, build friendships, and grow in their relationship with God. Our Kids Ministry is designed for children ages birth through 12 years old, with age-appropriate spaces and teaching for every stage.

As part of the global Church of the Nazarene, we are passionate about helping kids become Christlike disciples from an early age.


We partner with families to:

 

  • Help kids know Jesus in a personal way
  • Teach them how to live out their faith
  • Encourage them to love others like Christ

WHEN WE MEET

  • Sunday School (9:00 AM) 
    Before our worship service, children are invited to join Sunday School classes designed for their age group. This is a great time for kids to build friendships and learn God’s Word in a smaller, engaging setting—while parents are encouraged to participate in an adult study downstairs.
  • Sunday Mornings
    Kids begin in the main service with their families and are dismissed partway through for a time designed just for them.

PARTNER WITH PARENTS

We believe you are the most important influence in your child’s spiritual life. Our goal is to support and encourage you as you lead your family in faith. We want to equip you with tools, encouragement, and a church community that walks alongside you every step of the way.

We know visiting somewhere new can feel overwhelming—but we’re here to help make it easy!

  • We’ll walk your child to their classroom
  • We’re happy to answer any questions you have
